All about
Natalie Kroll

Natalie Kroll is a forward-looking HR leader and Head of People at a major Series B SaaS company where she is reshaping the future of HR by embracing AI-driven solutions to enhance organizational effectiveness across a global workforce.

Natalie advocates for a shift from traditional “People Strategy” to “People Science,” a new operating model that integrates behavioral insights, analytics, and AI-powered customization to align human potential with business goals. In her vision, HR evolves into a proactive strategic partner by enabling leaders to spend less time on administration and more on coaching and culture-building.

She is committed to reimagining HR as both the architect of business performance and the guardian of employee experience in the AI era.

Natalie’s passion lies in harnessing AI and analytics to create responsive, data-driven HR environments. She champions agentic AI platforms that offer not just automation but smart, secure, and personalized support, empowering employees through intuitive access to benefits, payroll, policies, and career development tools.

Throughout her career, including senior HR roles at Mantra Bio and Bluescape, Natalie has built and scaled HR functions from the ground up, consistently delivering transformative outcomes such as increased adoption rates, measurable reductions in HR workload, and stronger engagement.

Natalie leads initiatives to pilot secure AI agents in HR and IT, freeing teams from repetitive queries and enabling HR to focus on strategic projects such as workforce planning, predictive succession management, and well-being programs powered by machine learning.

Natalie’s approach blends innovation with a human touch: she partners closely with C-suite leaders to foster inclusive, high-performing cultures where diversity and continuous learning are central priorities. AI tools like Yoodli and ToughDay, which Natalie has spotlighted in her writing, enable personalized coaching, anonymous support, and targeted interventions, providing every team member equitable opportunities for growth. She believes that modern HR leaders must become data-driven decision-makers, leveraging predictive analytics to anticipate trends and proactively address workforce needs.

PHR-certified and deeply versed in US and global employment law, Natalie holds a B.S. in Marketing and Finance from San Jose State University and advanced mediation/conflict resolution training from UC Berkeley. Her thought leadership is reflected in articles on secure AI in HR and data-driven transformation, sharing best practices for AI adoption and innovation.

With her forward-looking, AI-driven vision, Natalie Kroll is transforming HR into a strategic, people-first, and innovation-led force shaping the future of work.

Outside of work, Natalie is also a dedicated mom to a busy high schooler which brings both joy and energy to her life. She recently picked up surfing as a summer sport and enjoys spending time on the water with her son bonding in the waves. Pickleball is another favorite pastime, providing a lively and social way to connect with friends outside of work. Residing in the Bay Area, she regularly ventures out on challenging hikes and explores scenic trails with friends and family, finding inspiration and relaxation in nature’s diversity.

Her passion for wellness, health, and nutrition is a guiding force: Natalie strives to instill these values in her son from an early age, prioritizing active living and balanced habits for herself and her family. Whether hosting healthy family meals or exploring new fitness activities, she brings the same intention and care to her personal life as she does to her professional role.
